Welcome to the D&D Character Manager, a web application for creating, managing, and advancing 5th Edition (2014) D&D characters. This manual covers every feature of the application.
What You Can Do
Create characters with a guided 7-step wizard (stats, race, class, background, proficiencies, equipment, details) with live preview
Manage characters with a full interactive sheet (ability scores, skills, spells, equipment, class resources, active buffs)
Level up with automatic feature grants, ASI/feat choices, and HP rolls
Run campaigns with source filtering, house rules (17 configurable rules), invite codes, DM controls, and a Markdown journal
Create homebrew content: custom spells, races, feats, backgrounds, classes, subclasses, features, and magic items
Track active buffs from spells and potions with real-time stat modification and concentration enforcement
Track class resources (Ki, Sorcery Points, Rage, etc.) with automatic rest recovery
Create custom magic items with charges, recharge triggers, masterwork bonuses, and attached spells
